Swedish Energy Agency has granted us funding for a pre-study for a national datacenter innovation cluster. The project partners are RISE SICS North, Business Sweden, LTU Business, RISE SME and LTU-CDT. The co-funding companies are Ericsson, ABB, Vattenfall & Skellefteå Kraft via Nodepole, E.ON, Intel, Schneider and Vertiv.

The project goal is to plan a cluster initiative with focus on international export to support innovative energy solutions in the datacenter industry that can contribute to development of datacenters and energy systems in Sweden and other markets.

The goal is mobilizing a collaboration between the cluster target group of small and mid- size enterprises, large actors in Sweden and internationally as well as innovation support organizations.

The project objective is to pre-study the cluster focus, relations, organization, activities, market and target group barriers and needs and the value the cluster must bring to the target group to enable innovative ideas to reach the market.
